BOYZ Brotherhood Inc. Presents: Skating into Summer

Celebrating Movement, Mentorship, and Meaningful Moments Date: July 31st, 2025, Location: Skate City Aurora Attendance: 104 youth (ages 3–18) + 30 adult volunteers

Event Highlights

• 104 youth rolled into summer with joy, confidence, and community support.

• 30 volunteers showed up with heart, helping kids feel safe, seen, and celebrated.

• The rink was alive with laughter, music, and movement—from toddlers finding their rhythm to teens mastering their glide.

• The Limbo Roller Skate Challenge stole the show! Kids bent low, cheered loudly, and showed their flexibility and flair.

• BOYZ Brotherhood Inc. hit its goal—offering free skating to every child and youth in attendance.

Spotlight: Mr. 6'7" — The Skating King of the Day

He came to play, not just supervising. Our strong, playful brother—known affectionately as Mr. 6'7"—was a crowd favorite. From gripping the carpet wall to avoid a wipeout to mastering the training wheels and claiming his title as the Skateboarding King, his journey was pure joy. Kids followed his lead, laughed with him, and saw that strength includes vulnerability and fun.

Yes, there were wipeouts—but every fall came with laughter, not tears. That’s the kind of resilience we love to see.
